Stone Texture Concrete Basin: A New Finish From JANEDO

Stone looks expensive. Concrete is practical. Our new stone texture concrete basin gives you both — a handcrafted concrete basin finished to look and feel like natural stone. Here's how the finish works, how it's made, and where to see it in person.

What Is a Stone Texture Concrete Basin?

A stone texture concrete basin is a washbasin cast in concrete, then finished so the surface reads like natural stone — the same matte depth, the same subtle tonal variation, the same cool, solid feel. No two basins are identical, because the texture comes from the finishing process itself, not from a printed pattern.

Compared with real stone, you get a similar visual weight and presence at a friendlier price point, in shapes that stone is harder to machine — and being concrete, it accepts colour and form far more freely.

How the Stone Finish Is Made

The stone look isn't a coating applied at the end — it comes out of the same craftsmanship used across our concrete basin manufacturing process:

  • Ground surface — Wet grinding exposes fine aggregate in the matrix, creating the natural tonal depth you see in cut stone
  • Controlled colour — Pigments are balanced during mixing and finishing so tones stay consistent yet naturally varied across the basin
  • Sealed protection — A protective sealer locks in the texture while making the surface waterproof, stain-resistant and food-safe

Why Buyers Choose This Finish

  • Natural look, handcrafted — Hand-finished edges and a unique subtle pattern on every basin; no repeating prints
  • Lighter on the budget than solid stone — Stone presence without the stone price and handling cost
  • Design flexibility — Custom colours and shapes are driven by the mould, not by what a quarry can supply
  • Easy daily care — The sealer keeps coffee, wine and toothpaste on the surface; wipe clean (see our care guide)

It pairs naturally with our bathroom hardware range — a warm metal against cool stone is one of the combinations buyers keep coming back to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the stone texture a printed pattern?

No. The texture comes from the ground concrete surface itself — fine aggregates exposed during wet grinding create the tonal depth. That's why every basin looks slightly different.

Is a concrete basin with stone finish waterproof?

Yes. Every basin is sealed with a protective sealer during production and passes a water test before shipping. The sealer also gives the surface everyday stain resistance.

Can I order it in a different colour or shape?

Yes. Moulds are developed in-house and colours can be adjusted during mixing and finishing. Share your reference samples or drawings and we'll confirm what's achievable.

How do I clean a stone-texture concrete basin?

A soft cloth with mild soap and water is enough for daily cleaning, plus wax protection every 3–6 months to keep the sealer performing. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and harsh chemicals.

Where can I see the stone texture concrete basin?

At Canton Fair 2026, Phase 2 (23–27 October), Hall 9.1, Booths F34-35 and G11-12. If you can't attend, contact us through the website to request photos, videos or a live video call during show days.

What MOQ applies to the new finish?

MOQ depends on the colour, shape and packaging requirements of your order. Send us your target model and quantity and we'll confirm the terms with your quotation.
